Hummus is a firm favourite with our children. It's a brilliant way to get them to eat veggies and get their fibre for the day.
400g chickpeas ( I can) - drained & rinsed
1 garlic clove - grated (or 1 tsp garlic puree)
2 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp tahini
1 tbsp lemon juice or 1⁄2 a lemon if using fresh
Pinch of salt & pepper
Olive oil to bind
Place all ingredients in a food processor, blitz to a paste adding oil as
you go to make a nice smooth paste.
